Student favorites selected by the student creators themselves; picked from a semester of excellent work in two sections of the freshman required course Digital Tools at Parsons - The New School. Both sections offered by the Communication Design & Technology department."This class will serve as an introduction to the essential tools for any digital designer or artist toolbox. The class will cover basic HTML, Web site design & development, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe ImageReady, Adobe Illustrator, and Macromedia Flash. We will explore and familiarize ourselves with the interfaces of the various software and learn to use these tools in our work. Projects will primarily involve web-based media, but there will be one or two print based projects as well. In addition, this class will offer discussions in typography, interface design, and usability." Enjoy viewing their work!
